PengTaiping , born in May, 1945, chief physician, professor, doctoral supervisor, Graduated from Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1968. He has been engaged in medicine, teaching and research work for 35 years. He successively won the titles of “advanced teacher”, “advanced worker”, “excellent supervisor of postgraduates”, “the second provincial prestigious teacher of Jiangxi province” and “the third batch of supervisors for the inheritance to the national famous veteran TCM doctors”. He undertook the multi-level and multi-course teaching, being the creator of the discipline “orthopedics” in Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is the chief editors of 6 self-edited textbooks on orthopedics and the chief editors of 8 other textbooks including TCM Orthopedics Foundation and Orthopedic Medical Guide for the Elderly. He published more than 30 academic papers. He has accumulated the rich clinical experiences in 35-year medical practice and possessed profound academic attainments and formed his own unique theoretical system and clinical specialty. He is not only good at maneuver and acupuncture cupping, but good at drug use combining internal and external therapy. To be specific, he could apply the microscopic syndrome differentiation and unique maneuver to treating bone diseases such as proliferative bone disease, aseptic lunate osteonecrosis, osteoporosis and gouty arthritis, and treating pain in neck, shoulder, waist & leg and limb fractures and dislocations, achieving noticeable effect.
